The Missionary Order of St. Barnabas is an ecumenical order with vows of Charity, Stability, Obedience and Prayer. We believe in the Divine Presence in the Eucharist. Our brothers and sisters also vow to pray a daily office.

We pray and work to see that our Lord's prayer as recorded in the Gospel of St. John, Chapter 17, is fulfilled. May it come to pass in our lifetime!

Please continue to pray that God's will be done in all that we undertake, and that nothing be done that is not pleasing to Him.

Also, we are seeking new members to help us continue our work of reaching out to a world that needs Him. If you are being called to the life of prayer and service, prayerfully consider joining us in our journey (or refer someone you know who is.)

Even if you decide this is not the place for you, I urge you to find your place and go to work while it is day, for the night is coming when no man can work.

May God richly bless you and multiply His kingdom through you.

Introduction from Canon Daniel Beegan, father superior of the MOB

Hello MOB officers and members.

A short time ago, Patriarch Jacob appointed me as father general of the Order. I will be responsible to Archbishop J. Nathan Allee MOB, D.D., the prior, and will work with Deacon Gretchen Hillis, the mother superior of the order.

To give you a little background, I was raised a Roman Catholic, with a healthy dose of the United Church of Christ, my maternal grandmother's Protestant denomination, thrown in.

I have been a priest since Jan. 8, 2006, when, after year… Continue

The Way of St. Barnabas

It is the desire, prayer and work of the Missionary Order of St. Barnabas to come together for the greater praise and glory of God and to assist one another on our journey to God.
When Jesus left this earth He did not leave us without direction, rather He left us with a mission. A mission that we cannot help but strive to accomplish; to do less would be to deny Christ. What was the mission He left us with?

Matthew 28: 18 - 20 (NKJV)

CHAPLET OF DIVINE MERCY

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and the whole world.

Holy God, + Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.
